Call for Choreographers

for the 21st CENTURY DANCE COLLABORATION

September 22nd through 24th, 2000
Marin Civic Center Showcase Theater

DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES:

ENTRY SPECIFICATIONS:

• Description of proposed collaborative work by choreographer and composer / musician / sound designer (C / M / SD)
• VHS tape of recent choreographic work
• Audio tape of recent compositions by C / M / SD's
• Bio and/or Resume of Choreographer and C / M / SD
• SASE for return of materials
• Complete contact information -- name, address, phone, fax, email and web site url (if appicable)

CRITERIA:

• Choreograph a dance in conjunction with C / M / SD to be performed 3 evenings
• Dance should be between 6-10 minutes MAXIMUM in length
• Group dances encouraged
• Honorariums will be paid to Choreographer and C / M / SDer's in accordance with required 30 tickets per group sales participation
• Choreographers and Live Performance C / M / SD's are available for 1 mandatory pre-production meeting in July and choreography is viewable by producers LIVE AND COMPLETE by August 13, 2000.
